High grass cutter HGS 580

The LUMAG rotary mowers are powered by a petrol engine and replace the outdated bar mower. The functionality of this type of high grass mower is a rotating plate on which 4 blades are attached. These cut the crop directly and place it sideways in the swath. Furthermore, with this mode of operation, there is a very clean cut due to the centrifugal force of the blades and few vibrations due to the rotating movement of the rotary mower. There is no juddering on a rotary mower, as you are used to from a bar mower, because you do not have to adjust two knives running one above the other.

In general, a rotary mower should be used when the mowing material is to be fed or the area has to be completely cleared of residues.
